Final Fantasy XI Samurai Guide
In Final Fantasy XI, the job of a samurai is a very advanced one, only available to the players who have reached or surpassed level 30 in Final Fantasy XI. The samurais are different from their previous incarnations by leads and bounds. Samurais in Final Fantasy XI are referred to as demon slaughterers because of their state-of-the-art skills and abilities. They are also capable of creating a circle ( a.k.a Warding Circle) which increases the resistive ability of their teammates (against demon attacks). Pros and Cons of a Samurai The developers initially visualized the Samurai as a tank that avoided damage primarily by using parries. Parrying does negate all possible damage, but the skill is tough to attain up to a level high enough to make it a viable option. This theory can be backed by the much obvious Samurai-specific armor, which has defensive abilities and statistics that would mostly benefit the tank. Strengths of a Samurai Samurai are great for combat as it damages the ene
